Raising Awareness

It is because of their open-mindedness and their sensitivity to injustice that Terre des Hommes Suisse focuses particularly on young people. It is even more appropriate considering that its operations in the South are principally concerned with the young, and this facilitates a feeling of solidarity between them. All these children will be the adults of tomorrow’s society, especially as parents, citizens and consumers.

Terre des Hommes proposes activities to schoolchildren in the whole of French-speaking Switzerland, and particularly in Geneva: presentation of our projects in the South, information campaigns in Switzerland, educational resources, games or exhibitions, shows, meetings and exchanges with children from the countries of the South, notably via discussion forums.
