Thanks to its close relationship with its partners, Terre des Hommes Suisse gains detailed and accurate information about living conditions in the areas in which it works. Through various campaigns it seeks to raise awareness of these conditions as well as their underlying causes. Though it has neither political nor religious affiliation it still supports initiatives from other organisations or groups when these aim to encourage North/South solidarity. Because of this Terre des Hommes Suisse supports referendums, petitions or protests related to fair development and children's rights.
