  • 125 million schoolage children in the world do not, in fact, receive an education.
  • 60% of children who do not go to school are girls.
  • In 75% of all countries, there are 37 children per teacher.
  • On average, in the world, 40% of children leave school before finishing primary school.

Why do so many children not go to school? Why don’t girls have access to education? Why, in so many countries, are the classes overcrowded? - The exhibition provides answers to these questions using photographs, accounts, and interactive tools. It also outlines Terre des Hommes’ strategies concerning education.

An occasion for our association to raise public awareness about Children’s Rights and to reaffirm one of its principal commitments: “Take Action to Guarantee the Right to Education”.
